I Love free spirted strong women

Frida Kahlo de Rivera (July 6, 1907 – July 13, 1954)

I Love a free spirited strong woman and Frida Kahlo embodies this. I saw the movie Frida a couple months back and thought the movie was great. Selma Hayek did a great job Portraying Frida Kahlo an artist and activist that through many different struggles and obstacles only became strong overtime. I wish I had seen this movie sooner I really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it. I wish I met her she just seemed so interesting.

What to do when your Gym membership expires???

So a couple months ago my gym membership expired they were asking for some crazy amount to renew it so I said Forget about! I also know that in summer time it’s harder for me to go to the gym I just want to be outdoors enjoying the nice weather. So I decided to do things that would help me burn calories and enjoy the weather. Walking in the city is a fun, lots of things to see and before you know it you have walked over a mile.

My friends and I walked up and down Newbury street

Just the right portion. a treat fom Sweet cupcakes

Stopped in at Johnny cupcakes my friend got her man a T-shirt from there.

The writting on the wall

Have you ever stopped and looked at the writting on the wall?

Providence RI

Lowell MA

I thought this was funny because the street looked so clean and nice with its cobble stones and all and this was so random I had to take a picture.

More Sushi

Yes More sushi! I went to this Place called Haruki with my girls on sunday in Providence RI. Supercute sushi spot! The drinks were good and so was the sushi. I also experianced and tried edamame (the green things in the brown bowl) I did not know how to eat them at first but I soon learned they were not bad but I wasalso starving. I threw dowm my Miso soup and dogged a lot of edamame while waiting for my sushi.

Thinking Skinny (Gym Girl Flow is no joke!)

So since January I have been going hard at the gym and eating healthy at first I started this to get bikini ready for my girl’s bachelorette in Miami. But my diet and gym flow is starting to become a lifestyle and I am loving it. I am feeling healthy and starting to feel fit. I am also happy I started this in winter because we tend to eat more in the winter months. All these foods and smoothies I am eating and drinking can be carried over to the summer. June will be the month the moment of truth bikini or no bikini and will I be happy in that bikini I have lost 10 pounds so far pretty much the 10 pounds I gained from last winter. I want to lose some more and then turn it into straight muscle. I will keep you posted and stay on my Gym Girl Flow  and keep thinking skinny and focus on fit. That’s it xoxoxoxo Izzy

PS: In January I posted a blog called Gym Flow in it I tlked about my work out and eating being a 4 week routine mainly because I wanted to look good on my birthday this has since become a four month routine and further a lifestyle routine.

Dating

"Sometimes dating is like the NBA draft pick and seeing who will come out on top and looking for that MVP. Do you have your MVP? ♥" This was my FB/Twitter status after seeing my friends YOUTUBE video.

Dating can be a headache but we are into getting that one franchise player baby! My friend told me that she is getting better at spotting the benchers I mean seriously there are some real rookies out there. and some people who go all out to get noticed or get some playing time (so to speak) and then start slacking once they made the team and then you don't see any work after that. these players need to get cut.

I mean for people who are single dating can really be a headache and even for those of us who are confused and not sure of where or who we want to be with. but after sorting through the bullshit its really about what makes you happy and who is a team player and suits your needs. I mean we all want that happily ever after like the fairtails.
My  boys video he based his roster on football but I thought this is so true!

PS: Don't over look the one you love or take them for granted (I am definately not) <3 xoxoxoxo Izzy

Everday I'm Shoveling! (Remix Baby!)

So this morning my mom said pack your bags you’re going on a guilt trip. To be exact she said your father is out there clearing the snow off the driveway all by himself you should go out there and help him and clear the snow off your car before he goes to work. Don't get it twisted I am like the son my dad never had when it comes to shoveling I do my part. I just did not want to that exact moment in time. But my mom’s words rang in my head until I felt bad. So I threw on what I could find and my Kick ass winter UGG boots Love them! They have lasted me 3 winters. So I cleared off my car and got to shoveling. At first my hands got numb and I felt out of breathe....Yes I was putting in work! I went inside got some water and my camera shoveling started to become fun. I started to work up a sweat and started to think this was not a chore or even just helping out my father, this was exercise and I was getting fit. I was working out my back, abs and arms. It’s funny because I really wanted to go to the gym this morning too. Mission accomplished at all angles until the next snow storm. When will it stop?! It isint New England if it does not snow every other week.

A Preview of what’s to come

So on Saturday I had the opportunity to go to my best friend’s food tasting for her upcoming wedding in June. The place was beautifully decorated as if there were a real wedding going on. They had a variety of table setting options. Each table was decorated very unique this gave her possible options or ideas of what her Table would look like on her wedding day. Just being there made me excited and put me in the wedding mood. I honestly can’t wait to get married! There were Hors d'oeuvres being served by people in suits and bowties. There were entrée stations, desert stations; candy stations a martini bar a wine tasting and an open bar. Pretty much there was a good amount of food and alcohol to go around. There were plenty of people to take advantage of all of this including us, 250 people to be exact. My best friend (Stephanie) went there with her mind made up with the entrée she would be serving her guests on her big day. But a funny thing happened why the idea of a food tasting is a great idea. She decided against her original decision and chose something else. I do not want to divulge too much info because I want those who are invited to be pleasantly surprised.

This was a very nice way to spend my Saturday afternoon. We took advantage of the open bar I came on an empty stomach and left with a full one. We talked laughed sipped ate got ideas and saw the actual vision. I just can’t wait for the actual wedding day.

Congratulations Stephanie and Adler, <3  xoxoxoxox <3

Stephanie and I

My plate I wish I had some more. The strawberry short cake was amazing!

Chocolate Covered strawberries, My Kryptonite! I had about 4 of these but whose counting

A funny thing happened when Stephanie and Adler were at the cake stations. So there were only 2 stations from 2 places one was Montilios Bakery and the other was from konditormeister. Stephanie was staning in fron of one and Adler in front of the other both talking about what cakes they would like. both were looking at each other waning each other to come over to the station they were standing in front of. it was kind of funny as the representatives from each bakery including me looked on. Hope you guys figure it out lol.

mmmmmmh Chocolate!

I had 3 Cosmo's
Something I wish I took a picture of was the ice sculpture that was at the martini station. It was not only art work but it was part of the drink process. The bartender mixed the drink and poured it in the ice sculpture in a martini glass. I had a wedding cake martini love the name not the martini so much, too much amaretto.
