What's for dinner

Making dinner and lunch for the next few days. Spaghetti squash and turkey meatballs. is it weird that food some times makes me happy? :)

Salad?? Who would have ever thought

Who would have ever thought I would like salad this much!? This is my favorite salad to make and eat. It has spinach (sometimes I use kale or both kale and spinach) feta cheese (this one has pepper jack, gave it a hint of spice mixed with sweet) cranberries, apples and walnuts. Had some blueberries in the fridge added those too. All inside of a Flatout bread wrap that's extra too I usually eat the salad alone oh and sometimes I add some chicken to the mix as well. This salad goes great with pomegranate dressing. I have used raspberry pomegranate dressing today I have blueberry pomegranate dressing on it :)

Happy hump day

Breakfast and lunch. Trying to stay on my healthy path one healthy meal at a time. Breakfast was a Egg white omelet with spinach cheese onions and tomatoes. Lunch was turkey avocado spinach tomato on a Flatoutbread bread wrap (90 calories). Trying everyday to make healthy choices and to prepare my meals a head of time so I don't go buy processed unhealthy good it's know to go right to my stomach and make me bloat the processed goods freeze sodium ect..... Eat healthy train hard! That's it xoxoxoxo izzy 😍😘😚

Two of my faves

Great snack yummy salad! Tomatoes and avocados you can eat it plain or sprinkle a little salt and pepper on it or some dressing. This time I had it with a little salt, pepper and Basil :) that's it xoxoxo Izzy <3 😘😍

Juice! :)

So a few months ago I discovered juicing I did a juice cleanse for 8 days trying all different fruits and vegetables in liquid form. To go along with this morning breakfast I made some mango apple carrot and spinach juice! So good taste sweet and is good for you :)
For breakfast I wiped up bobs red mill gluten free pancake mix added spinach and vanilla protein powder so delicious and had the last of my egg white muffins. Love when I have time to make breakfast :) happy Saturday! Trying to stay stress free while studying, researching and writing this brief for my class.

Eggs Eggs and more Eggs!

My new obsession is Egg Muffins. I saw this great idea on Instagram and had to try it my self. It's pretty quick and easy.

What you need:

.Muffin tin
.Olive oil spray to spray muffin tin so egg muffins don't stick.
.Eggs or Eggs whites
.what ever filling you like. (I used turkey, spinach, onions, tomatoes, cheese, broccoli, bacon)

Place ingredients in muffin tin then pour beaten/mixed (or egg whites) eggs on top. Bake in oven on 350-400 for 30 minutes.

**the muffins I like a lot that I made this week are even faster****

.Line muffin tin with slices of turkey (what I used but any sliced meat will work such as ham)
.crack egg in each muffin slot lined with turkey place in oven bake at 350 or 400 depending on the desired hardness of your egg I do not like my eggs runny I like it hard! Take out each with salt pepper or Sriracha ;)

Fried goat cheese

Mmmmmmh did someone say Fried Goat cheese!!!?? Had this the other day while at dinner with my parents and I must say the cranberry collaboration is amazing! Girls day out (another day in the city with my best friend)

This past weekend my beast friend and i spent some quality time together Sunday to be exact)

We started out with breakfast at 50's diner in Dedham ma. Then walked off the calories in Brighton while Vintage/thrift shopping in the city. I was on a mission for button downs and found 2 in great colors and some other things as well. The pink button down is from a place in Allston called urban renewals (J-Crew 3.99 also got a purple one Banana Republic 3.99 as well) The leopard and yellow and black sweaters are from a a place called buffalo exchange both are on the same street. I feel urban renewal had a better deal but I like that Buffalo exchange does trade and buys things from you with out an appointment and gives you cash in hand. It was a great day the sun was shining and the weather was nice it was definitely a great day to take in the sites and enjoy the city. That's it xoxoxo Izzy 😘

Fit is in

Dont get it twisted I want to be fit not skinny! When I look at magazines I look for abs and definition. That's my ideal body type not like a body builder but a fit physique. That's it xoxoxo Izzy 

I Love Pepsi, but I had to quit her!!!

I was a pepsi fanatic believe it or not! Some people drink coffee I drink pepsi. I drank it Morning, Noon and Night. So its actually surprising to me that I have stoped cold Turkey like that. Its been 4 months i cant lie i have probably had it 3 times on seperate accations in that 4 months but I have not since. I have replaced pepsi with water my other love (especially when its ice cold) so it was not too hard to switch. I have replaced her with orange juice, V8splash and smoothies. It's always good to keep hydrated with water I am always filling my water bottle up from the water at my works cooler. I know I get more than 8 glasses a day which I heard is a good thing.


So I have been on a healthy kick for a while and although I love Pepsi very much I had to quit her. It was bitter sweet but it had to be done :( Pepsi is just no good for my belly fat. Yes I'm trying to get that six pack back it's been an up and down battle and I have been losing. On a good note I have managed to lose 3 pounds and keep it off all due to a good healthy diet (fruits, veggies, green smoothies and yogurt)on an even better note I have lost and kept off 10 pounds from January 2011 when I first started my journey back when gym girl flow was no joke!

I haven't yet rejoined a gym. I do miss my fitness classes dearly and I know they would speed up my goal of toning up paired with my healthy eating. I did however get a copy of P90x from my cousin who said it actually worked for her and her husband and I have seen the results they are two gym fanatics. I just need to get motivated to start the work out videos just like any work out regiment I need some motivation. Also some time and space to work out to these videos. When I get home from work all I want to do us watch a little TV then go to sleep. I need to replace the TV with a P90x routine then go to bed I am sure I would sleep wonderfully  well operation shrink belly and replace with 6pack or 4 pack abs is underway. I will keep who ever is interested posted. That's all xoxoxo Izzy 
