In the last days of summer a nice 90 degree day falls on a Monday. Today would have Been a perfect beach day instead I'm sitting in my own personal igloo that looks like a cube. I wonder why when designing this office who thought of the "perfect" idea to place an AC vent right over my head???!!! Brrrrr it's cold in here!

Sushi Time

So far my favorite place to have Sushi is at this spot in Cambridge called Spice and Rice I love the Shrimp Tampura. The Thai food is pretty good too but not as good as Brown Sugar Cafe in Boston. Honestly the best Thai food I have ever had! I beleive all of their food is made with LOVE

So happy this week is over! I love Love Love my weekends. This is a big weekend too. Takers comes out today and so does Avatar again? Yes avatar with never before seen scenes and in 3D. I will see this again because I did not have the opportunity to see it in 3D and heard it’s even more amazing in 3D. Like I said in a previous post August is a big and a big movie month (August=Taker).

So it's Raining again.....

So its raining again I'm starting to feel like I live in London England, and I'm still with out my Umbrella. It's the best umbrella I ever had sturdy and very Durable (its a bubble umbrella). My friend NeekNitro whose house I left it at has put it to use these past few rainy days. according to her my umbrella is: "the truth". remind me to go and get it from her. I miss my umbrella and I am tired of getting Soaked! I Love Lifetime movie mondays!!!!

Tonight at 9pm bond of Silence is on lifetime this is a movie based on actual events like most life time movies. This is about the murder of a womans husband who goes across the street to calm down a party being held by some high school students. After his death the teenagers that last saw him alive "Bond" together and are uncooperative with the police hence the name "Bond of silence". this movie also reminds me of a book I read in high school. in the book a group of students plotted to kill their teacher and were eventually caught. Not exactly the same story line or plot but the kids bonding together and lying is the same. So where will I be??? I will be sitting in front of my TV watching Bond of Silence (That's it) xoxoxoxoxox <3 Izzy

Rain= an R&B type of day

Next time you think rain rain go away! Just put on some R&B sit back and relax and if you have someone to cuddle with that's cool too. If not hug your self and listen to the slow tunes. So last night I did not sleep too well. Maybe it was the rain or the strange noises in my house. What ever it was next thing I knew at 3am my bed  room door swung open all by it self, can you say freaky!? I can! I was freaked out especially soon after that happening I heard loud thumping noises and another door in the hall rattling. I turned the light on my night stand on and I quickly got out of bed and locked my bed room door. I sat up in my bed contemplating if I should wake everyone in my house up wondering if this was an intruder and not ghost. I also contemplated dialing 911 but tried to reassure and convince my self that maybe the noises were due to all the windows being open. I eventually fell a sleep with the lights on. This morning I asked my parents if they heard any strange noises and told them what had gone on last night. My mother said no and my dad said I watch too many scary movies. We got a good chuckle out of it but if this happens again at the same time with the same occurrences I'm waking everyone up and turning all the lights on. I'm just saying------if I can't sleep no one is going to sleep

Oh Mondays......

Why is it always a struggle to get out of bed on a Monday?! I really dislike Mondays!! I will only appreciate a Monday if it’s my day off and I’m doing something cool like going to the beach or something exciting. Here is a thought, have you ever looked at a calendar and notice that by Tuesday even the Calendar says WTF----I'm just saying I hope this week goes by fast! I love Fridays but I can't stand Mondays....just thought I would share (That's it) xoxoxoxo <3

I Love Vampires.....

I Love Vampires and Serial Killers…..Serial killers…..well maybe only one serial killer his name is Dexter Morgan. I am looking forward to the new season (Season 5) of Dexter on Show Time (September 26th). This season looks crazy and Good! So back to my love of Vampires. So yes I have seen all three Twilights forcing my sister to sit through one of them with me. I am currently watching True Blood on HBO and loving every minuet of it. I cannot wait for the new season of Vampire diaries on the CW it’s been far too long I will be looking forward to those suspenseful Thursday nights (September 9th). September is going to be big I can’t wait for my shows.

So sometimes I'm easily amused. Today I am amused by....... (Google Chat/Talk)

For one I am excited that my internet is working and that I’m back online, Two I discovered Google chat. I know I am probably super late with this discovery. I mean I tried to use it before at work but along with everything else on my work computer that option was blocked. I guess they want us to do work or something hahaha :). Now that I have started to use my Google account, I have been amused and excited about the video chat feature it has. I am a person that was not really interested in Skype or really video chatting at all. I feel like you have to make sure that you don’t look like a hot mess before you start the video chat. My mom actually laughed at me when I started to get dolled up to chat with a friend of mine I mean you have to look good right??? People will see you it's a Video Chat not a phone call. Last night I introduced my friend to it and spoke to her for an hour on it. She lives out of state so it was nice to be able to do that with her. Now I am just looking through my contacts to see who I should invite to join me in all this fun. So this is my latest amusement and fun. I’m enjoying playing with my new laptop I have waited so long. Do you ever get to a point in your life when you think “what am I doing right now??” “what am I doing right now??” Just like I said in my previous Post (by my late 20s who would have thought), did you ever think you would be further along in your life or career or goals. Sometimes it’s better to just do YOU. Right now that’s what I am doing taking things one day at a time and trying to get what I need and want out of life. I am definitely not going to let life pass me by. Someone told me to get a notebook and write down all my goals and deadlines for those goals. This is a good start in trying to accomplish the things you need to in your life weather it getting another job accomplishing a big move to a new city or just trying to stand on your own two feet. Self independence is wonderful and attaining your goals is rewarding. You know what sucks just as much as losing your cell phone.....Not having Internet. I feel like im living in the dark age. Well maybe not that bad. I just got a new laptop and I can't use it due to my Internet failing to work. I just discovered that gmail has video chat too and was only able to use it with 2 people for a couple hours before my internees epic fail. I wanted to try it out some more. I wanted to video chat with one of my friends who is out of state. Thank goodness I have my cell phone, with a data plan minus the video chat. I just think it's crazy that the day I got my laptop my Internet decided to stop working. Is some one trying to spite me!?? I'm just saying. fingers crossed that the Internet will come back to me soon.(that's it) xoxoxo <3

PS: I know I could always find a Wifi hot spot or something like that. but sometimes it's nice to come home from a long day of work to my laptop a nice glass of wine and a little Tv before bed.

August=Takers

So it’s August, and the movie Takers staring T.I., Idris Elba (from The Wire, and if you don’t know about the wire you need to Re-up I mean get up on it) and  Paul Walker (3 cuties!). Takers comes out in theaters August 27th I can’t wait! It looks like its going to be really good. I am a person that loves the movies. I think I’m a good movie date I will see almost anything. I enjoy a vast majority of movies and yes I am so Down to see action flicks. Like I said I will see almost anything, the only thing I don’t like is stupid humor I don’t get it and it’s not funny to me. I like the movies so much that I will go to the movies by my self and have a great time. To me it’s like watching a big TV. I must warn people who go to the movies with me I get movie anxiety. We must be on time for the movie and when I say on time we must reach way before the previews start. Not only do I look forward to the movies I look forward to the previews as well. I don’t like searching for a seat in the dark and I think it all goes back to when I use to go to the movies with my grand father and he almost sat on someone in a dark crowded theater and we had to shuffle around in the dark trying to look for a seat until we finally found one. After that I said to my self never again! So yes if we are ever cutting it close I will literally sprint into the theater maybe even past you all so I can enjoy and watch my movie. So if I am going with someone on august 27th to see Takers please be mindful of my movie anxiety or you will be left. Sprinting to a theater near you (That’s it) xoxoxoxoxoxo <3

Dear summer,

Please don’t go! I can’t believe its August already. Where has this summer gone? It flew by and I feel like I haven’t accomplished anything. I mean I did go to Atlanta for a week but I feel like I should have at least gone to Miami or Vegas. Last summer I was on boats, canoes and kayaks and running around free like a hippie. This summer overall has been pretty low key. I really wish summer was year round minus the humidity. I want to do something big or fun and exciting so I can look back at this summer like I did last summer and say: “damn! That was a good summer”. Right now a trip might be out of the question but I need to end this summer off right. You know I think I have only been to one cook out this summer! A friend of mine told me we had 19 ninety degree days! So why have I only been to one cook out and to the beach a couple of times.  I need to get in a beach day before it starts to get cool out. I’m really going to miss you summer  it would be nice if you could extend your stay through October and a little bit of November…….please summer don’t go…… but if you must I will give you a nice send off party.

By my Late 20’s who would have thought………

Who thought by their late twenties early thirties they would be somewhere else? When I say some where I mean anywhere except for where you are now. Well I definitely did, I always pictured myself being more successful than I am now. Maybe owning my own home or at least even a town house and not renting. I thought that maybe I would even be married with kids and a small dog. I am a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree and a full time job. Have you ever thought you should have majored in something else instead of what you graduated with a degree in? I have many times. Sometimes I feel like I should have researched my major more or looked into something that would gain me the maximum amount of income possible. When I was in college I felt like Kanye West  was singing about me in his song "It All falls Down" especially the verse where he says: “the Major that she majored in don’t make no Money” I definitely did not think about dropping out because my parent would have definitely looked at me Funny. I think when we first go to college it can be overwhelming especially for those of us who don’t have a set major. I think I had about 3 different majors before I graduated. Now that I’m in the real world and in my late twenties I wonder what if??? What if I had a fun and exciting job? What if I was excited to wake up every day to go to work? What if I majored in something else in college? I guess ultimately I have not discovered my passion or my career. But what’s always fun is trying to discover what you are passionate about and trying to accomplish your goals. Thinking about it and going out and doing and getting what you want are two different things. I found self focus can be wonderful and discovering yourself and your goals a can help in the long run. So maybe the major that I majored in might make any money but it’s up to me to go out and get what I want. Whether it’s that dream job that house that career and furthering my education. So I guess it’s never too late to get what you want. (that’s it) xoxoxoxoxo <3
